Abstract

• The economy of Sulawesi Barat third quarter of 2020 as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached 11.49 trillion rupiah, while at constant prices in 2010 reached 8.01 trillion rupiah.

• Economy of Sulawesi Barat third quarter of 2020 when compared to the same quarter in 2019 (y-on-y) contracted by 5.26 per cent. According to the business field,

The highest contraction occurs in the business field Construction of 16.66 percent. As for the expenditure side, the highest contraction in imports of components by 16.89 percent.

• Economy of Sulawesi Barat third quarter of 2020 as a q-to-q growth of 1.14 percent.

• On a cumulative basis (quarter-III) in 2020 compared with the same condition in 2019 (c-to-c), Sulawesi Barat economy contracted by 0.56 percent.

• On a regional scale in Central Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua, the highest region's economic performance in the third quarter 2020 as a y-on-y in North Maluku which grew 6.66 percent. Meanwhile, the economic performance was lowest in the Sulawesi Barat which have contracted 5.26 percent.
