Poverty Gap Index (P1) by Regency, 2024

Description: Poverty Gap Index (P1) Concept Definition : The Poverty Gap Index (P1) is a measure of the average expenditure gap of each poor person against the poverty line. Interpretation : The decrease of the value of the Poverty Gap Index indicates that the average expenditure of the poor people tends to get closer to the poverty line and the expenditure inequality of the poor people is also narrowing. Note: : Data of March 2008 column is contained by data of July 2008. Data collection from 2006 to 2010 is only conducted once a year, while data collection for 2011 and above is conducted twice a year. Data of Poverty Gap Index by Regency is available in March.
