Abstraction
  • The economy of Sulawesi Barat in 2022 measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the basis of valid prices reached 54.07 trillion rupiah, while on the basis of constant 2010 prices reached 33.65 trillion rupiah.

  • The economy of Sulawesi Barat in 2022 experienced a growth of 2.30 percent when compared to 2021 (C-to-C). Increasing the creation of added value occurs in most business field categories. The largest source of economic growth occurs in the categories of agriculture, fisheries and forestry. While in terms of expenditure, the largest source of economic growth comes from the component of household consumption expenditure.

  • The economy of Sulawesi Barat quarter IV-2022 experienced a growth of 2.53 percent when compared to the fourth quarter of 2021 (Y-on-Y).

  • The economy of Sulawesi Barat quarter IV-2022 experienced a growth of 1.29 percent compared to quarter III-2022 (Q-to-Q).

  • On the regional scale in the Sulawesi region of Maluku Papua, the highest economic growth in 2022 occurred in Maluku Utara which was able to reach growth of 22.94 percent, followed by Sulawesi Tengah which reached a growth of 15.17 percent. The Sulawesi Barat was only able to grow by 2.30 percent, ranked nine out of ten provinces.
