Abstract
• The value of Sulawesi Barat's exports in May 2021 reached US $ 61.09 million, up 1.41 percent compared to April 2021 and also rose 153.55 percent compared to May 2020.
• Animal / vegetable fat & oil is the main export commodity of Sulawesi Barat Province during May 2021 with a contribution of 91.50 percent of the total exports of Sulawesi Barat Province.
• China, the Philippines and Pakistan are the main destination countries of Sulawesi Barat exports during May 2021.
• Cumulatively, the value of Sulawesi Barat's exports rose by 29.83 percent, from US $ 207.47 million (January-May 2020) to US $ 269.37 million (January-May 2021).
• Sulawesi Barat did not carry out import activities during May 2021, even so with April 2021 and May 2020.
• Cumulatively, the import value of January-May 2021 was recorded at US $ 0.39 million and decreased by 46.39 percent compared to the January-May 2020 period which was recorded at US $ 0.73 million.
