Abstract

• In March 2020, the level of expenditure inequality Sulawesi Barat population as measured by the Gini ratio was recorded at 0.364. This is down 0,001 points when compared with the Gini Ratio September 2019. Meanwhile, compared with the Gini Ratio in March 2019 amounted to 0,365, Gini Ratio in March 2020 also fell by 0,001 points.

• Gini Ratio in urban areas by March 2020 stood at 0.436, declined both compared Gini Ratio September 2019 amounted to 0,438 and compared the Gini Ratio in March 2019 amounted to 0.445. While the Gini Ratio in rural areas in March 2020 amounted to 0.321 increases both when compared to September 2019 the Gini ratio of 0.320 and compared the Gini Ratio in March 2019 amounted to 0.317.

• In March 2020, the expenditure distribution bottom 40 percent population group amounted to 18.61 percent. This means that the population spending remained at a low inequality level category. When broken down by region, in urban areas the figure was recorded at 15.07 per cent, which means that are in the category of moderate inequality. While in rural areas, the figure was recorded at 20.37 per cent, which means that in the category of low inequality.
