2023 AGRICULTURAL CENSUS SOCIALIZATION BPS MAJENE REGENCY

On Thursday (15/6) BPS Majene Regency held a Socialization of the 2023 Agricultural Census with the theme "Recording Indonesian Agriculture for Food Sovereignty and Farmers Welfare". The socialization activity was opened by the Assistant for Economics and Development, Drs. H. Abdul Rahim, MM as Representative of the Regent of Majene Regency and attended by heads/representatives of OPD, KTNA, Prosperous Farmers Group (Poktan Sejahtera) and Radar Sulbar media.

In his remarks, Drs H. Abdul Rahim, MM fully supports the 2023 Agricultural Census as a strategic step for Indonesia's agricultural development. He hopes that all socialization participants can disseminate information regarding the ongoing ST2023 and accept the arrival of officers and provide correct and honest answers during the data collection period from 1 June to 31 July 2023.

There were two resource persons in this socialization activity, the first resource person was Plt. The Head of the Agriculture, Livestock and Plantation Office, Ms. Andi Adlina Basharoe, SP, M.Sc. who delivered material related to agricultural potential and support for the implementation of ST2023 in Majene Regency. Followed by a presentation of material from the second resource person, namely the Head of BPS Majene Regency, Mr. Ahmad Gunawan, SST, M.Sc. related to the general description of the implementation of the 2023 Agricultural Census, the scope of sub-sectors and information that will be collected during the 2023 Agricultural Census, and its relation to Indonesia's One Data.
